In European countries, Red Crossbill may be the common bird,
it's not easy to see it in Japan though.
In the end of 2002, we happened to see them on the wall and ate it.
We found it very interesting and visited there
almost everyday, during our stay in Tateshina.
I took many photos,
most of them are out of focus or faded though.
They are just for "photorecording".
"We really enjoyed the meal"...!?
